Live an environmentally conscious life

Start to understand and appreciate our natural environment a little more

If we stop and invest a little more time into learning, understanding and appreciating our planet, we would quickly realise just how insignificant we are without it.

“Humanity’s entire life support system depends on the well-being of all species on Earth”

In order to protect ourselves we need to protect our planet. Precious resources need to guarded, animal species nurtured and our water and air kept clean. The well-being of humans relies directly on the well-being of the natural environment. We are deeply connected to nature and without it we would not have life

A bit about me

I am simply a human who longs for a happy and healthy planet…
Growing up in Cape Town, South Africa, I have always been surrounded by the most beautiful natural environments. From the two oceans, the icy Atlantic and warm Indian, which wrap around the coast, to the endless mountain ranges and valleys covered by the most botanically diverse flora in the world, earning it the name ‘The Cape Floral Kingdom’. There has always been an opportunity to escape into nature.

Through this website I aim to raise awareness of pressing environmental issues whilst providing some valuable information about the conservation of our planet. I am no academic scientist, nor do I know the ins and outs to saving the world but what I do have is passion and determination for making this planet a better place

It’s a Race Against Time

0% of global fish stocks
are at major risk of collapse
0% of the ocean
is protected from exploitation and the rest goes unaccounted for
0% of the air
we breathe is produced by the ocean

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”

—Margaret Mead
